Write A ReviewShurflo's macerator pump has a high flow rate and is designed to empty marine and RV waste holding tanks in minutes. It can also clear fish boxes of scales and residual waste as it features a unique stainless steel dual-cut blade that will ground up small debris thoroughly.
The premium impeller has run-dry capability, however to avoid damage to impeller and housing, do not run pump dry for more than 15 – 20 seconds. The thermally and ignition protected motor has a seamless shell design with o-ring sealed end bells and a sealed manual turn key, and is manufactured to withstand tough marine conditions.
When the impeller is wet, the pump is self-priming to a 1.5m (5ft) lift, and a 1.2m (4ft) lift when impeller is dry. For prime performance and to prolong the lifespan of the macerator, you should mount it as close to the tank as possible.
